We meet for worship in our newly rebuilt Sanctuary, every Sunday morning at 10.30am and again at 6.00pm on the first Sunday of the month.
Coming to a service can seem a little daunting if you are new to church. Please be assured, we are a friendly group of people and our services are relaxed and easy to follow. We have no dress code – though we do prefer people to be dressed – and we make sure everyone knows when to stand or sit. If in doubt, sit at the back or in the Gallery and just follow everyone else! Children and young people are very welcome. Don’t worry if your child makes a noise or wants to walk about during the service – we won’t.
Our services include a variety of hymns and songs, both old and new and you will find that the service is led by church members as well as the minister or preacher.
On the second Sunday of the month we have our Cafe Church service. To misquote Star Trek, “it’s worship Jim, but not as we know it”. We sit round tables and engage in crafts, drama, story telling, quizzes, games, prayers, Bible readings whilst enjoying light refreshments. Cafe Church is ultra-relaxed and nothing fazes us. It is great if you are new to church or you want to bring your family. Cafe Church is led by our Cafe Church Team together with our worship band.
On the fourth Sunday of the month we have our Junior Church. Children and young people join us for the start of the service before going off to our halls for their own activities and worship. You are welcome to accompany your child to Junior Church if you wish.
On the first Sunday of the month in the evening and the third Sunday of the month in the morning, we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion. We operate an open table meaning we invite everyone who wishes to do so, to share with us in communion.
