Chorley United Reformed Church holds worship in a number of forms to suit different tastes and audiences. We worship at least once every Sunday, with a cafe church service once a month and evening services for much of the year.
Special services are held during the Easter and Christmas periods to mark these special times of year. The details of regular services are lower down on this page.
9.30 am – Prayers and Pastries (Except on the 2nd Sunday in the month)
A simple, liturgical based service over breakfast
9.30 am – Cafe Church (On the 2nd Sunday in the month)
A lively, family friendly act of worship led by our Cafe Church Team, with music led by our worship band, puppets, crafts, drama, story telling, refreshments, prayers, message and more.
‘It’s Church Jim, but not as we know it’
10.30 am – Morning Worship (11am on the 2nd Sunday in the month)
A ‘traditional’, free church service with a focus on music led by our two choirs. We offer activities for young people and refreshments following the service.

A quieter, more contemplative act of worship followed by refreshments
Tuesday 10.30 am – Shoppers’ service
A brief midweek service in the lower church room
