Worship

Chorley United Reformed Church holds worship in a number of forms to suit different tastes and audiences. We worship at least once every Sunday, with a cafe church service once a month and evening services for much of the year.

Special services are held during the Easter and Christmas periods to mark these special times of year. The details of regular services are lower down on this page.

Sunday Services

10.30 am – Cafe Church (Second Sunday of the month)

A lively, family friendly act of worship led by our Cafe Church Team, with music led by our worship band, puppets, crafts, drama, story telling, refreshments, prayers, message and more.

‘It’s Church Jim, but not as we know it’

10.30 am – Morning Worship (Except the Second Sunday of the month)

Our worship is led by our Minister of Word and Sacrament on the third and fourth Sundays in the month with other services led by local preachers and members of the congregation. The service is also available later on YouTube (search for Chorley URC).

6.00 pm – Evening Communion (First Sunday of the month)

A quieter, more contemplative act of worship followed by refreshments
