Worship

Chorley United Reformed Church offers worship in a number of forms to suit different tastes and preferences. We worship at least once every Sunday, with a Cafe Church service on the second Sunday of each month and Evening Communion on the first Sunday of the month. 1

Coming to a service can seem a little daunting if you are new to church. Please be assured, we are a friendly group of people and our services are relaxed and easy to follow. We have no dress code and we make sure everyone knows when to stand or sit. If you are unsure or uncomfortable, why not sit at the back or in the Gallery and just follow everyone else! Children and young people are very welcome. Don’t worry if your child makes a noise or wants to walk about during the service – we won’t.

Our services include a variety of hymns and songs, both old and new and you will find that the service is led by church members as well as the minister or preacher.

Special services are held during the Easter and Christmas periods to mark these special times of year. The details of regular services are lower down on this page.
