Christmas Card Competition
The pictures on this page were created for us by children from Highfield Community Primary School in Chorley, but these are just a few of the over 100 entries to our Christmas Card Competition.
Five designs have been chosen to appear on our Christmas Cards, Christmas Banner and Posters but we were so impressed with the other entries that they are all on display in Church forming a unique background to our Christmas Services. Do come and see how the children of Highfield Community Primary School interpreted the theme “Peace on Earth”.
Christmas at the Meeting Place
Although they won’t be meeting on Christmas Day, the Meeting Place will be holding their Christmas Meal on Wednesday 18th December and will be meeting as usual on Boxing Day (December 26th) and New Year’s Day.
Do join us for friendship, for art, to talk, to play and above all to eat!
The Meeting Place is entirely free attend – You will never be asked for money though donations towards running costs are always welcome!
The Meeting Place meets at the Hollinshead Centre, Chorley URC
